A friend of mine recently replied to an email of mine with the words "you should start a blog" ...easily persuaded, so am i, that i did....and here it is. I did a bit of research first and came up with my passion for video production as the blogs theme. I've shot for Yrs., for so long that at my first pro job the camera i used was attached to the deck via something we called the ambilicle cord. YUP!, a full size beta deck slung over one shoulder, while i chased fires or local pols...uggg.
Now i shoot with my brandy new canon xh-a1 and i love it. i do find that i have a hard time controlling the specular highlight on subjects outside in full sun. Any suggestions on that would be helpful. I do, however love it's compact nature, and many pro cam features, like say, the xlr connections.
